Soft wood that's easy to carve. Comes in an assortment of sizes.

Brass Rods 1.5 mm

Sculpey Premo Polymer Clay - White

This line from Sculpey is my favorite for clay figures. Soft but firm enough for detail.

One of the pencils I use in my daily rotation. Very comfortable weight distribution.

Zebra Sarasa Grand Gel Pen

My go to pen for writing notes and quotes. Solid build and aesthetically pleasing.

Every animator I've known uses this. It's a dense book helping you learn how to animate. Useful for practice and problem solving.

Books - Creative Life & Mindset

Steal Like An Artist

Easy and short read, but the lessons in here have stayed with me throughout my creative journey. His other books are great as well.

The Creative Act: A Way of Being

This book will speak to anyone who considers themselves creative. It's deep with empathy and advice for anyone, regardless of your medium.

Art & Fear

An older book but still holds relevant advice for any artist facing doubts in their creative life. I grab this from my bookshelf whenever I need realignment.

The Artist's Way

Contains many exercises to rekindle and cultivate artistry. I mainly revisit the plethora of quotes included.

Books - Self-Improvement

Love For Imperfect Things

Lessons of wisdom and compassion applicable to life in general. Admittedly, this book has made me cry multiple times.

Slow Productivity

Stories and advice for a sustainable way of being productive. If hustle culture is too much for you at times, maybe give this a shot.

Equipment

Bambu Lab A1 3D Printer

Easy plug and play 3D printer. I can whip up my own prototypes and parts within a small time frame. The AMS Lite Combo is great but not necessary.

Apple iPad Air 13" (Latest Model)

My favorite tablet for digital illustration, painting, 3D sculpting, etc. I also enjoy the freedom to work from a couch or cafe.
